Hospice and palliative massage is a distinct practice focused on comfort, not cure. Sessions are delivered at the patient's home, hospice facility, or hospital room — wherever they are — and are designed to support pain management, reduce physical discomfort, ease symptoms of stress and anxiety, and offer the kind of gentle, respectful touch that supports both patient and family through end-of-life transitions.

My work in this space is informed by my clinical training at Huntsman Cancer Institute's Wellness & Integrative Medicine Center, where I work with inpatient oncology populations — including many patients in late-stage care.

What I can offer

How to request a visit

The simplest path is to reach out directly — call or text (801) 382-7931 or send a message describing the situation and the hospice or care team involved. I can coordinate directly with the hospice organization or family as appropriate. Visits can often be scheduled within a few days; urgent requests are accommodated when possible.

Related services

Many hospice families also request Reiki and Jin Shin Jyutsu for comfort care.

Good to Know

Hospice Massage FAQ

Where do sessions take place?

Wherever the patient is — home, a hospice facility, or a hospital room — throughout the Salt Lake City area and greater Wasatch Front.

Do you coordinate with the hospice team?

Yes. I'm glad to coordinate directly with hospice nurses, chaplains, and family caregivers so the visit fits smoothly into the patient's care plan.

How quickly can a visit be scheduled?

Visits can often be scheduled within a few days, and urgent requests are accommodated when possible — call or text directly rather than booking online for these.

Is this only for the patient, or can family receive care too?

Family and caregivers are welcome to receive gentle care as well — caregiving carries a real physical toll, and support for the whole family is part of this work.

Have questions before you schedule?

Call, text, or reach out — I'm glad to talk through the situation first.
